I could hardly wait for this calendar to arrive so I could start marking down firsts that my son had already passed at 2 months old. Unfortunately when it arrived I was disappointed.My first disappointment is with the stickers...they are very small. The entire sticker sheet only measures 4in x 7in, making each sticker only about 0.75in x 0.5in...which is especially small when each day on the calendar is approx 1.5x2 inches. The stickers would be fine if this was a mini wall calendar, but are too small in my opinion on a 12x12. This calendar is supposed to highlight your babies first year, but with the small stickers I feel like they would look more like a side note on the day rather than a highlight.
My other disappointment is in the set-up of the calendar...this would probably not be an issue for most, but I'll point it out for those it may affect. Each month is numbered starting with 1 and going through 13 (which I was pleased to see that is did include the 13th month since I was uncertain it would with the very limited product description). My son was born on the 30th, so my first month will mostly be filled with prenatal doctors appointment/showers/etc. The problem is that when I get to the second month, which is really my sons first month of life, that the page is labeled as 2 months. I would have preferred that it not be labeled at all.
Other than these disappointments, the quality of the calendar and stickers is good. I could probably get over the sticker size issue, but with the set-up as it is (and my son having been born at the end of the month) I think I will be on the lookout for a calendar that better suites my needs.
