This is a heart throb thriller called 'court in the Streets" that take place in Durham,NC.
Santonio and Jason Parker are cousins who are living the high life. They're responsible for seventy percent of the city's heroin. Competition is none, and money isn't an object. Life couldn't get any better, but the fairytale ends when a string of home invasions turn their lives upside down.
Amia Parker, Santonio's sister, finds herself a victim of a home invasion and a brutal rape. When she identifies Curtis Atkins, one of the cousins' workers, as one of the robbers, the cousins vow to hold court in the streets.
This isn't a story that glorifies violence and drug dealing, this is a story that shows you the other side of the game and how it affects everybody.

Here's another page turner from K. Bullock. This one is about two cousins Tony and Jay. They both have the streets of Durham on lock with a herion connect named Walter from Jamaica. They do so well he decideds to cut their middleman/O out. He becomes enraged and decides to rob them after a few yrs. of seeing them become rich men. He hooks up with one of their soldiers named Curt and get's into their moms house and doesn't find any $$$ but viciously rapes the sister. Tony and Jay the hot-headed one find out it was Curt and kill him. They eventually find out it was O who did the rape and set him up and in the process they are going to let their partner Brown, to whom they helped to get off the heroin get out the game and are accosted by O and robbed and in the process O shoots Brown in the chest several times but he survives and Jay kills O. Detective Bynum has the hots for Tony esp. Jay but he can't get them so when Browns wife calls and tells him she thinks they have killed him and where they were meeting he rides with the area police when gun shots are reported. Tony takes the fall seeing he doesn't have a record and waits for Brown to come out of his comatose state to clear him of the charges.Bynum goes to see Brown and he's awake but when he tells Bynum the same thing Tony does which will clear Tony, Bynum smothers him with a pillow and arrest Tony. Court in the Streets is a thriller/thug story that keeps you turning the page because you just have to know what's going to happen next. Santonio and Jason Parker are cousins who have reached the top in Durham, North Carolina. That is the top of the heroin game. However, they have enemies that they don't know about. Of course they start by attacking their friends and family. Which seems to send Jay (Jason) and Tony (Santonio) over the edge. Now it's time for revenge as they set out to find out who has raped their sister and killed one of their workers and put another intensive care. As if this is not enough they have a bitter Homicide detective atfer them too. Sometimes, it's hard to tell the bad guys from the good guys. As the two cousins set out to find the people who have done this they encounter all sorts of obstacles as they themselves are being hunted as well. The state, the feds and the gangsters are all after them and they are seeking revenge and trying to protect their families at the same time. This is a story that actually makes you root for the cousin's and make you worry about whether or not they will make it out alive. Enter into this thriller and see if you don't feel the same way. Big ups to Mr. Kevin Bullock, I can't wait to read his next book. Oh yeah, I read this in three hours.

This was a really good book, It kept you turning the pages. The details painted a very good picture (you could almost visualize the characters). I cried at the end, It was OK because I just knew it was all to good to be true. I would definately recommend this book for book club discussion.
This was a very good book. Too bad so many people had to die. Our Book club will have a lot to discuss.
This was a great read and truely enjoyed it. I would like to say that Kevin did a great job on this book.
I know a lot of us is sleep on this Author,but I am awake now.The story of two cuz'n. more like brothers. They got the streets on lock, and everybody's eating.But yall know about the haters, smile in your face, but wanna take your place.And to put the icing on the cake; no good cop. So just get the book,and go to where I have been!
